Questions about a JG G36C ?

Im going to be playing in the woods mostly, and at farther distances (200+ft) will this gun be decent? Only reason im worried is bc it has a pretty short barrel on it, which i will eventually upgrade to a tightbore.... Or would i just be better off saving my money and getting the G&G Combat Machine M4 (the $140 one)?
