What is this for and what is it called?(see picture)?

this is just to take stress off the back. it spreads the pressure of the saddle more evenly. youre looking for a non-slip pad. These are usually sort of rubbery on the bottom with nubs that keep the pad still. The half pad is just for helping with too much pressure on the back.
