I cannot seem to unattach the orange flash hider on my JG G36c. Is it glued on and how do i get it off?

I have owned the gun for about 3 years now and recently bought a silencer. I have already taken off the screw tried the blowdrier trick but it didnt work. Do I need to twist it the opposite way? Is the older model impossible to remove?
